Benny Sorrentino

Benny Sorrentino started his own business in 1966 with two other partners in the wrought iron design and installation business. They grew the company into a structural steel fabrication business for industrial, commercial and medical facilities all across Southeastern Michigan.

That business grew very successfully for a number of years, thus allowing Benny to venture into another industry, the building and development business. This is where he founded Icon Building in 1974.

Benny has gone on to great success as a highly regarded real estate builder, developer and management operator. Under his leadership Icon Development acquired, developed and built, owned and sold a wide array of real estate projects that valued well into the $100’s of millions of dollars. Benny has since retired, but continues to give his time to community charities and fundraising organization’s throughout southeast Michigan.
